Hello beautiful paid subscriber,
This week’s newsletter is just for you! I am so grateful for your support of my work. Thank you for being wonderful and thank you for being here.
Recently, I was walking through the grocery store, and I had that weird feeling of nostalgia for the current moment. Does that ever happen to you? You know, when you realize that you’re going to wistfully long for the very moment that you’re present in. Usually these real-time-nostalgia moments happen during life’s Big Things (e.g., first day of class, graduation, a baby’s birth). But on this particular occasion, the feeling occurred for me when I was standing in front of the citrus fruits. Ha! Not exactly groundbreaking. I was stricken with mild panic that here we are skipping toward the start of spring, and was it possible that I hadn’t taken full advantage of citrus season? Did I eat my fill of Meyer lemons, blood oranges, and oro blanco grapefruits?
